AMPLIFIED AMUSEMENT

Fun for all is the goal of classic rock cover band Dry Heat, who lights up the stage each time they perform.

It’s a ‘dry heat’ is a pretty common phrase in these parts because it’s how we’ve come to deal with the scorching temperatures in the summer.  Dry Heat also happens to be the name of a Lake Havasu-based band that is stirring up some hot stuff of its own of a musical nature and fanning the fire on fun just about anywhere the play.

While they have played all over the area on both sides of the Colorado River and then some, right now they’ve found a pretty stable home at The Tropicana Laughlin.

Dry Heat’s built-in chemistry seems to come across in every song they play and crowds can sense that fun and it is reflected in the music.  They play from an extensive catalog of classic rock with a bit of country, dance, alternative and pop rock mixed in. They have a lot of songs that get the crowd up and pumped.

We all bring different songs to the mix and we have a good time together.  That’s what sets them apart is they’re having fun. The audience can tell they’re having a good time, especially with Michelle front and center. The main thing is that we all get along great and have a good time together,  “That’s what it’s all about.”
